1. “The landscapes make you want to applaud”

First and most importantly, it looks amazing. Douglas Adams, the author of Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, probably sums up its appeal best in his book, Last Chance to See. “Fjordland, a vast tract of mountainous terrain that occupies the south-west corner of South Island New Zealand, is one of the most astounding pieces of land anywhere on God’s earth, and one’s first impulse, standing on a cliff top surveying it all, is simply to burst into spontaneous applause. It is magnificent.”

Planning Relocation

Carefully evaluating employees, their skill set and their current family situation before making a job offer, is a best practice that increases the employer’s return on investment.  In many cases, an employee may have no idea that a relocation will be so difficult on him or her or on the family.  Therefore, spending time evaluating the potential pitfalls up front will ensure retention of good talent, whether or not the employee relocates.  An experienced destination service provider helps with managing relocation costs and maintaining the productivity of the executive.  Most importantly, partner and family are cared for, reducing risk of failure of the move.
